The Importance of Menstrual Cramp Explained

Women often get to a certain stage in their lives when they honestly believe that their bodies are against them. Many women who’re unluckily enough to have irregular periods can still have menstrual cramps to deal with as well. The condition of endometriosis can increase the debilitating effect as can the condition of PCOS. Some sail through the day with minor discomfort, while others are doubled over in pain and don’t feel like getting out of bed that morning for anything.

The problem is getting a menstrual cramp relief remedy that you can guarantee will work every month. Often the easiest way to help stop this is complaint to just take a pain relief tablet. Drug manufacturers were quick to formulate a remedy which most people know as Pamprin. Some women prefer to accept the pain every cycle rather than take any form of pain relief but are they doing themselves any good with this attitude?

Why waste days of your life in pain when there is no need; think about all those things that you are stopped form doing. If the cramps aren’t bad enough, women can also suffer with a bloated stomach and the sensation of queasiness too. After a number of years of suffering I’d had enough and decided to find a menstrual cramp relief remedy to claim those days back every month. It was so inconsistent; many months there would be hardly any pain and then I would have a cycle where I thought I had someone squeezing me tightly for hours on end.

I have tried all sorts including quite recently a heat pad which seems to work but I do have to vary where I position it for it to be effective. You may not have tried this for your problem before but it is well worth giving it a go particularly if you haven’t had any success with pills. However, if you endure more painful menstrual cramps you may need to try something stronger. This is especially true if you find that you sometimes have to miss work because they are so bad which doesn’t help your attendance record if it’s a regular occurrence.

If you are finding the problem is getting too much then arrange for your doctor to prescribe a stronger form of menstrual cramp relief. A doctor will know of other options available to you including the birth control pill, if you are not already on it, which can help relieve the pains. Obviously this would be a stupid option if you are trying for a baby but there will be other remedies you doctor can prescribe to help the cramp you feel each cycle.
